The Bull Run in Pamplona

Under the Smithsonian Museum is the National Museum of Natural History, it is a natural history museum which is located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The museum’s collection includes over one hundred and twenty five million specimens of plants, animals, fossils, minerals, rocks, meteorites, and human cultural artefacts which makes this museum one of the world’s largest museums.

The National Air and Space Museum is also located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. and it has hundreds of original, historic artefacts on display, which includes the Wright 1903 Flyer; the Spirit of St. Louis; the Apollo 11 command module Columbia; and the Lunar rock sample that tourists can touch. The Museum offers 22 exhibition galleries. The U.S. Holocaust Memorial museum is another museum that tourists should not miss.  Museum visitors are invited to spend some time reflecting in the Hall of Remembrance, located on the lower level on the south side of the building.

The National Gallery of Art which was created in 1937 for the people of the United States of America, by a joint resolution of Congress. This is another tourist spot in DC. The Gallery’s East Building, situated on the land reserve in the original Congressional resolution, and was launched in 1978.  The Smithsonian’s first building is popularly known as the Castle. It serves as the abode of the Institution’s administrative offices and the Smithsonian Information Centre.

The National Museum of the American Indian, Washington, D.C., is situated in the National Mall between the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum and the U.S. Capitol Building.  This museum is dedicated to the life, languages, literature, history, and arts of the native peoples of the Western Hemisphere.  The Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden is a beautifully designed circular structure with a fountain of concentric circles.

The Hirshorn Museum is based upon the extensive eleven thousand piece contemporary art collection of Joseph Hirshhorn. The collection includes art by:
