It serves as the abode of the Institution’s administrative offices and the Smithsonian Information Centre.

The National Museum of the American Indian, Washington, D.C., is situated in the National Mall between the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum and the U.S. Capitol Building.  This museum is dedicated to the life, languages, literature, history, and arts of the native peoples of the Western Hemisphere.  The Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden is a beautifully designed circular structure with a fountain of concentric circles.
